N.L. BISHOP

He was a Christiansburg policeman for 14 years, then left his job as an investigator three years ago to become the assistant administrator at the Roanoke United Methodist Home. A few years ago, he studied Henry Lee Lucas, a serial killer who grew up in Montgomery County, for a college paper on people's memories of Lucas and how his youthful experiences compared with the literature on serial killers.
