KNIGHTS WIN; HODGE REACHES MILESTONE
Senior Lisa Hodge passed the 1,000-points mark for her career with 18 points in leading Cave Spring to a 77-35 rout of Franklin County in a Roanoke Valley District girls' basketball game Monday night.
Hodge , a 6-foot-1 forward destined for North Carolina State on a basketball scholarship, has 1,013 as a four-year starter.
She also had 11 rebounds, three assists and five blocked shots.
All 12 players scored for Cave Spring (11-0 overall, 5-0 Roanoke Valley), which used a press to build a 22-5 first-quarter lead before going to its reserves in the second quarter. FRANKLIN COUNTY (35)
