LAUSTRUP, DONALD B.

Donald B. Laustrup, of Roanoke, formerly of Troy, N.Y., born Christmas Day, 1926, died Tuesday, January 14, 1992 after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his daughter, Jo Ann L. Overstreet, Vinton; and her mother, Lori L. Slavin, Fort Myers, Fla.; two brothers, Russell Laustrup, Troy, N.Y.; Robert Laustrup, Lake George, N.Y.; an aunt, Elizabeth Laustrup, Troy, N.Y.; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, June Overstreet, Roanoke; and Gale Trent, Knoxville, Tenn. A memorial service will be conducted at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 7:00 p.m. Thursday by the Rev. Joseph A. Shumate, for family and friends.
