PERDUE, ADDIE E.Mrs. Addie Ellis Perdue, age 87, of Route 2, Vinton, died Tuesday, January 14, 1992 at Richfield Nursing Center. She was born December 6, 1904 in Franklin County to the late Robert and Amy Pagens Ellis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Clarence Perdue; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Thelma and John James, Hazel and Earl Roland, three brothers and one sister-in-law, Claude (Mike), Parrel (Pat), Elmo (Red) and Margaret Oiler Ellis. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Juanita and Carl Gordon, Salem; Evelyn and Tommy Pedigo, Vinton; three grandchildren, Dolores Leed, Hampton; Michael Pedigo and Lisa Long, both of Vinton; three great-grandchildren, Tommy Bondurant, Hampton; Christopher Mullins, Thomas Lee Long, both of Vinton; one great-great-grandchild, Crystal Leigh Bondurant, Hampton; brother and three sisters-in-law, Auther and Ruth Ellis, Ridgeway; Mary Ellis, Hardy; Ruth Ellis, Rocky Mount; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Vinton Chapel, 2:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dr. George Wesley Jones officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials be made to The Thrasher Memorial United Methodist Church at 707 East Washington Avenue, Vinton, Va. 24179.
