POTTERY, FUNERAL URNS TO BE SHOWN AT TECH

A pottery and funeral-urns exhibit will be held in Cowgill Hall's lobby, Monday-Wednesday at Virginia Tech.

The art was developed by Ellen Braaten, assistant to the dean and lecturer at Tech's College of Architecture and Urban Studies. She produced the show under a fellowship at Spain's Artigas Foundation.

Braaten was the second American accepted by the foundation, which honors the memory of master potter Llorens Artigas and promotes the pursuit of ceramics.

The exhibit will include slides on the foundation's facilities and is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Call 231-5383.
