CITING TRAFFIC DEATHS A CHEAP SHOT
I DON'T appreciate what Walter Bibb wrote (letter, Jan. 6) about a mother and daughter getting killed going after a pack of cigarettes. Betty Stanley and her daughter were my close cousins. He took an ignorant cheap shot. Anyone should have the right to be on the highway anywhere, anytime, without being run over and killed. Mr. Bibb should do something that makes sense: Get behind and work with Mothers Against Drunk Driving. VERLYN BRADY HILLSVILLE
