POWELL, RUBY P.

Mrs. Ruby Payne Powell, age 72, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, January 15, 1992. She was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church, Eagle Rock, Va. and was the widow of Elden H. Powell, Jr. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Marion L. and Elaine T. Powell, Daleville; three daughters and sons-in-law, Betty P. and Harry L. Wood, Jr., Richmond; Phyllis P. and William E. Williamson, Jr., Hampton; Gerrie P. and Robert E. Minnix, Boones Mill; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold S. Agnor, Chester; Weldon D. Agnor, Eagle Rock; one sister, Nancy A. Witt, Covington. Funeral services will be conducted from the Shiloh United Methodist Church in Eagle Rock 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 17 with the Rev. Teresa S. Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday.
