Willie Jo Reynolds, age 91, of Roanoke, Va., died Tuesday, January 14, 1992. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Howard A. Reynolds and her parents, Tandy and Minnie Shermer and by three brothers, Andrew (X.A.), Eulius, Jerome Shermer; two sisters, Edna S. Grossman and Lucy S. Morrison. Mrs. Reynolds was a Registered Nurse who graduated from City Memorial Hospital, Winston-Salem, N.C. Surviving are three sisters, Alpha S. Vogler; Julia S. Patton, both of Advance, N.C.; Atlee S. Parsons, New Carlisle, Indiana; a number of nieces and nephews; and by her best friends and companions, Bob and Georgia Reynolds, Roanoke. A Moravian graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, in Salem Cemetery, Winston-Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, (4504 Starkey Rd., Suite 115, Roanoke, VA 24014). Friends may call at Frank Vogler & Son Funeral Home, Winston-Salem, where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Local arrangements by Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
