HODGES, JAMES M.

Mr. James Monroe (Bug) Hodges, age 91, died January 15, 1992 in a local nursing home. He was a member of the Doe Run Christian Church and was employed by The Lane Company for 46 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Nannie Bob Hodges; three sisters, Mary Hodges, Nannie Hodges and Alice Hall, all of Rocky Mount; one half sister, Elsie Hodges, one half brother, John R. Hodges, both of Rocky Mount; Bonnie and Mary E. Turner and other nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Friday in the Hodges Family Cemetery near the home by Rev. John R. Leeper. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 2 P.M. Thursday where the family will be from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and also at the residence due to Mrs. Hodges' health. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to The Glade Hill Rescue Squad or Fire Department or The Doe Run Christian Church.
