ALDERMAN, NELLA

Mrs. Nella Alderman, age 102, of 108 Painter St., passed away Tuesday in Twin County Community Hospital. She was the widow of W. A. Alderman. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Benford (Beulah) Hurd, Galax; Miss Ava Alderman, Galax; Mrs. J. W. (Irene) Pinner, Jr., Suffolk; Mrs. Joe L. (Arlie) Williams, Panama City Beach, Fla.; two sons, Clarence Alderman, Roland Alderman, both of Galax; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:00 a.m. at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Ora Evans officiating. Burial will be in Felts Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home, Galax.
