BARNETT, MARY W.

Mary Katherine Woolfolk Barnett, age 98, of 802 Woodhaven Drive, passed away Tuesday, January 14, 1992 in the Bedford County Memorial Hospital. She was born December 15, 1893, a daughter of the late Charles I. Woolfolk and Mollie Hardy Woolfolk. She was preceded in death by her husband Buford Barnett; one sister, Norma Fuqua; and one brother, C.I. Woolfolk, Jr. She was a member of the Bedford Baptist Church. She is survived by two nephews, Roy Woolfolk; Irving Woolfolk and his wife, Betty Woolfolk, all of Bedford; two great nephews, Charles Woolfolk, III, La.; Roy Lee Woolfolk, Bedford; a great-great-niece, Amber Woolfolk, La.; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Alton and Margaret Hall, Greensboro, N.C. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, January 17, 1992 at 11:00 a.m. from the Updike Funeral Chapel, Bedford, by Dr. Ron Blankenship. Interment will be in the Oakwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
