HASH, A. HOBSON

Mr. A. Hobson Hash, age 93 of Independence, Va., passed away Tuesday, January 14, 1992, in Waddell Nursing Home, Galax, Va. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Wilma H. Thomas, Asheboro, N. C.; Mrs. Maxine H. Anderson, Greenville, N. C.; Mrs. Betty H. Sumner, Farmville, Va.; Mrs. Carolyn H. Cannoy, Elk Creek, Va.; fifteen grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson also survives. Funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 17, 1992, at 2:30 p.m. in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, Va., with the Rev. Fred Jennings officiating. Interment will be in the Fox Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday night from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Fox Cemetery, c/o Mrs. Stella Todd, Rt., 3, Box 640, Independence, Va. 24348. Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home of Independence, Va. is in charge of the arrangements.
