ADULT STUDIES DIRECTOR NAMED AT CLINCH VALLEY

Bobbie Jo Peters, elementary supervisor for Tazewell County schools since 1985, has been named director of adult studies and continuing education and a lecturer in education for Clinch Valley College.

"Our national search led to a resident of Southwest Virginia to head this important program," said Vice Chancellor and Dean Lucius Ellsworth.

Peters graduated from Berea (Ky.) College. She holds a master's in elementary education and supervision from Radford University and a doctorate in education from Virginia Tech. - Southwest bureau
