Bob Ehret rebounded a missed 3-pointer and put in the winning shot at the buzzer as Washington and Lee defeated Lynchburg 74-72 in Old Dominion Athletic Conference men's basketball Wednesday.Ehret blocked a Lynchburg shot and got the rebound to call a timeout with 32 seconds remaining, giving the Generals a chance to set up the winning play. The Hornets (5-7 overall, 2-3 ODAC) led by 15 in the second half before the Generals (4-8, 1-5) overtook them.
Paul Baker had a career-high 20 points for W&L. Lynchburg's Daryle Dooms had 20, but only two of those came in the second half.
