DOG SHOW, OBEDIENCE CLASSES IN RADFORD
The Radford Parks and Recreation Department in cooperation with the New River Valley Kennel Club will sponsor all-breed dog show handling and dog obedience classes.
The dog obedience classes start Feb. 3.
Classes meet from 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Monday nights at the Radford Armory. The class is for dogs 6 months and older. All dogs must have current health certificates.
The fee is $35 for the eight-week class.
The all-breed dog show handling class is designed to help new or experienced handlers to show in breed conformation classes. Dogs must be five months or older. Registration fee is $30 for six weeks of classes.
Registration for these classes ends Jan. 31.
