FOR THE RECORD

Dominion Bankshares Corp. is considering closing branches at the Roanoke Regional Airport and at the Ridgewood Farms Kroger, but has not yet made a final decision on which of 30 branches systemwide will close. A story in Thursday's newspaper indicated that the decision was firm. Also, Dominion said no closings will be taken before the third quarter of 1992.

Lorenzo Carpenter is the center for VMI's football team, not basketball team, as reported in Thursday's editions.
