GRAVELY, NANNIE H.ROCKY MOUNT - Miss Nannie Haynes Gravely, age 86, of Rt. 2, Rocky Mount, passed away Wednesday, January 15, 1992 in the Roanoke Memorial Rehabilitation Center. She was a retired teacher having taught in public schools for forty-four years. She was the daughter of the late P.B.F. and Emma L. Gravely. Surviving are; one brother, W. Francis Gravely, Rocky Mount; two sisters-in-law; Mary H. Gravely, Yorktown, Va.; Mae G. White, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; a niece, Nancy Payton Little, Grand Rapids, Mich.; three nephews, John Peyton Gravely and Cecil F. Gravely Jr., Yorktown, Va.; William Vincent Gravely, Conway, S.C.; three great-nieces, Katherine G. Melo, Newport News; Emma G. Jacobs, Cleveland, Ohio; Mary G. Odell, Glen Allen, Va.; one great-great-niece, Katelyn Melo, Newport News. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday in Lynch Chapel with the Rev. T. Ivey Adams Jr. officiating. Interment will follow in High Street Cemetery. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m., Friday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
