JAMES RIVER HOLD OFF PARRY MCCLUER

James River took control in the third quarter and went on to rack up a Pioneer District boys' basketball victory over the Parry McCluer on Thursday.

The Knights outscored the Fighting Blues 17-5 in the decisive third quarter to turn a 17-13 halftime deficit into a 30-22 lead. Parry McCluer managed only one field goal in the third quarter.

Parry McCluer got 10 points from Leslie Gray.
