TOWNS ANNOUNCE HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

The municipal building, Blacksburg Transit offices and the community center will be closed Monday in observance of Lee-Jackson-King Day.

Blacksburg Transit, the community center gym and garbage and recycling collections will operate on a regular schedule.

In Christiansburg, town offices, the recreation center and the senior center will be closed Monday.

Garbage normally collected on Monday will be picked up Tuesday. Residents should place garbage at the edge of the street before 8 a.m.
