TIRED OF HEARING MINORITIES WHINE

I'M TIRED of Alvin W. Finestone's rhetoric (letter, Nov. 18) on the little country of Israel that sticks out one hand demanding money and thumbs its nose at us with the other.

I would like to know, considering the size of the country, where all the refugees they are accepting will be working. It is my, and countless others', thought that we will be subsidizing these people for generations.

I'm tired of hearing some minorities whine for more freebies when both hands are full and can hold no more. They need to read "Trail of Tears" or "Wounded Knee."

I'm tired of the welfare system that has taken away man's incentive and pride in himself. Regardless of what bleeding hearts say, women have more babies by invisible men (who are not supposed to be around) just so they can get more money. This should stop after the first child, which could be called accidental.

Tired too of the Japs telling us how much of their crop we have to import, and what little they export from us. How can this happen? One way was when the unions demanded such high wages. The cost of our products went beyond our reach.

A case in point was John L. Lewis, who was very instrumental in the switch from coal to oil. Don't get me wrong: The unions were an awesome, needed thing at one time.

If this sounds a lot like David Duke, I'm sorry. He has such a grasp of what the working man has been griping about that he scares the hell out of me. This is all about a wonderful country that should wake up before it is put to sleep - permanently. Forgive the toe-stepping. MURIEL TURNER CLIFTON FORGE
