BROWN, MARGIE G.

Mrs. Margie Geneva Crowe Brown, age 90 of Roanoke, died Thursday night in a Roanoke Hospital. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert R. Brown; two children, Erma Frances Brown and Roy David Brown; two brothers, Vance Crowe and Roy O. Crowe and a sister, Gussie Goodpasture. Surviving are four sons, Elbert R. Brown, Jr., Roanoke; Joseph V. Brown, Manassas; James C. Brown, Charlottesville; S. Wayne Brown, Lyman, S.C.; a brother, Thomas Crowe, Salem; three sisters, Henrietta Blevins, Ethel Mae Kibler and Ina Pittman, all of Greenville, Tenn.; fifteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 20, 1992 with J.W. Kornegay-Minister officiating. Interment in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends at Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday.
