STONEMAN, KENNETH H.

Kenneth (Ken) Hanel Stoneman, age 19, passed away Thursday, January 16, 1992 at the Roanoke Memorial Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a December 29th auto accident. He was a sophomore at Old Dominion University where he was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity. Preceding him in death were his maternal grandparents, Hanel and Nina Bousman. Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Connie and Doug Beatty, Rocky Mount; father and stepmother, Gary and Jan Stoneman, Greensboro, N.C.; sister, Misty Lee Stoneman, Rocky Mount; paternal grandparents, Kenny and Alice Stoneman, Rocky Mount. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday in Lynch Chapel by Dr. Richard D. Harrell and Rev. Joe Crandall. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lynch Funeral Home after 3:00 p.m. Saturday where the family will be from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and other times at the homes of Kenny and Alice Stoneman or Connie and Doug Beatty. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be made to The American Lung Association or the Franklin County Rescure Squad.
