HELP U.S. ECONOMY WITHOUT ANY BASHING

JAPAN-BASHING, Bush-bashing, or any other bashing, while perhaps emotionally gratifying, won't do much, if anything, to revitalize the American economy.

What will be effective is for you and me, the consumers, to make every effort to select American-made products whenever there is a choice, even if there is a reasonable extra cost for the domestic product. We can put people back to work in jobs that provide a decent wage and a comfortable living if we give preference to "American made" in every purchase we make.

Automobiles, televisions, microwave ovens, hardware, clothing and other products are available as American-made. You will find American-made products not only are high quality, but include generous warranties, excellent post-sale service and low-cost maintenance.

We don't need legislation or the lip service of politicians who tell us what they think we want to hear. This is our country, our economy, and our friends and neighbors who are losing their jobs, and we have the power to solve our problems without begging for favors from any foreign suppliers.
