WINGO, MABEL T. Mabel Trivett Wingo, age 80, of Roanoke departed this life to be with the Lord January 17, 1992. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a member of First Church of God, Hildebrand Road, N.W., and worked in Church Court Day Nursery and Kindergarten for a number of years. Surviving are her husband, Ruel J. Wingo; three sons, J. Robert Wingo, Roanoke; Bernard A. Wingo, Flora, Ill.; R. Jack Wingo, Roanoke; two daughters, Katherine A. Adams, Alexandria, Ind.; Karen W. McClung, Roanoke; fifteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one niece, Sherry Lynn Dye. Funeral services will be conducted from First Church of God, Hildebrand Road, N.W., at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 20, with the Rev. James Millner officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday.
