OBIT GARMAN, R.

GARMAN, RUBY B. Mrs. Ruby Baker Garman, age 76, of Salem died Friday at Richfield Nursing Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Glenn (Ham) Garman. She is survived by four sons, Robert Walter Garman, Vinton; Curtis Lee Garman, Elliston; Herman Larry Garman and Gerald Wayne Garman, both of Salem; two daughters, Mrs. Alene Mills, Roanoke County; Mrs. Barbara Thompson, Salem; three sisters, Mrs. Nellie Bott, Mrs. Edna Lester, both of Roanoke County; Mrs. Media Creasy, Salem; fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 20, at 12:00 noon at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. John Lee Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Sunday.
