BAILEY, LUTHER R. Luther Randolph (Jack) Bailey, age 55, of Narrows, died Sunday morning, January 19, 1992, in the Giles Memorial Hospital, Pearisburg, Virginia. A lifelong resident of Giles County, he was born in Gold Bond, Virginia, on April 11, 1936, and was the son of the late Frank E. and Georgia Kemp Hinchee Bailey. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers, Iron Ship Builders, Blacksmiths, Forgers & Helpers, AFL-CIO, CFL, Local #45, Richmond, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Lillie Mae Ratcliff Bailey, Narrows; two sons, Randy A. Bailey, Jackie L. Bailey, both of Narrows; one daughter, Robyn Bailey Taylor, Pearisburg; four brothers, Kenneth Hinchee, William Bailey, both of Gold Bond; Frank Bailey, Jr., Ripplemead; Fred Bailey, Peterstown, W.Va.; two sisters, Stella Snider and Bertha Snider, both of Gold Bond; two granddaughters, Mandy L. Bailey, Mindy L. Bailey, both of Narrows; one grandson, J. Alexander Taylor, Pearisburg. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at Riffe's Funeral Chapel in Narrows with the Rev. Donald E. Stansell officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Narrows. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday after 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.
