3 YOUTHS ARRESTED IN CEMETERY VANDALISM

Police have made three arrests in the latest act of vandalism at a Confederate cemetery.

Four juveniles allegedly broke open a crypt and were trying to pry open a coffin when they were spotted, authorities said. They also allegedly spray-painted obscenities and satanic symbols on several graves.

The crypt had been damaged in one of two attacks last year and had not been completely repaired.

Three juveniles have been charged with grave tampering, a felony. A fourth youth was being sought, officials said.
