Auditions for playThe Little Town Players will hold auditions for their March production of William Inge's "Bus Stop" on Monday at 7 p.m. at the Elks Home Theatre in Bedford.
Parts are available for men and women, ages 16-60.
Those who would like to audition but will not be able to make Monday's tryouts should call Nancy Johnson at 586-3707.
Author to sign books
Lexington writer and artist Suanne Kelley Kopald will read from and sign copies of her children's book, "Serina's First Flight: A Tooth Fairy's Tale," on Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Rockbridge Regional Library in Lexington.
The book centers around the world of a tooth fairy named Serina and adventures she encounters on her first flight.

Student art on display
Winning entries from the annual PTA Reflections Contest in Roanoke and Salem schools are on display through Jan. 31 in the Student Art Gallery at the Roanoke Museum of Fine Arts.
The paintings, photographs and other media reflect the 1991 Reflections theme, which was "Exploring New Beginnings."
The museum's Student Art Gallery is sponsored by the Junior League of the Roanoke Valley.
1-man show at Ferrum
Actor John Maxwell will portray Nobel prize-winning novelist William Faulkner Thursday at 8 p.m. in Sale Theatre at Ferrum College.
There will be no charge for admission to the one-man show, which is titled "Oh, Mr. Faulkner, Do You Write?"
