BRYANT, ELVA H.

Elva Hale (Catherine) Bryant, age 61, of Salem passed away January 20, 1992 in a local hospital to be with the Lord. Surviving are her husband, Kenneth L. Bryant; daughter, Irma Snider of Texas; a daughter and son-in-law, JoAnn and Wade Edwards of Fincastle; a daughter and son-in-law, Jackie and Eddie Horn of Salem; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Sherri and Buster Richardson of Moneta; a son, Harford Hudson of Virginia Beach; a son and daughter-in-law, Bruce and Donna Hudson of Salem; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; also surviving are two sisters, Marie Scott of N.C.; Grace Hudson of Salem; one brother, Buddy Hale of Salem; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Lotz Salem Chapel at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 23 with Rev. Marion Harris officiating. Interment will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Lotz Salem Chapel.
