TUKE, ETHEL B.Ethel Martin Burke Tuke, age 73, of Salem, went to be with the Lord Tuesday, January 21, 1991. She was the widow of James C. Burke and George C. Tuke. She was a member of Hollins Road Baptist Church. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Betty B. and Paul L. Kidd, Salem; Joyce B. and Richard B. Dean, Roanoke; two sons and daughters-in-law, James C. and Jacqueline Burke, Raeford, N.C.; Samuel A. and Kay Burke, Milboro, Va.; 16 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; stepdaughters, Helen T. Hodge, Kathleen Beach, both of Hot Springs; three stepgrandchildren; one stepgreat-grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Frances Nichols, McDowell, Va.; Mrs. Helen Waugh, Columbia, S.C.; Mrs. Mildred Williams, Wilmington, N.C.; Mrs. Faye Cook, Dale City, Va.; two brothers, Stanley C. Overhulser, Manassas; William (Bill) Overhulser, Goshen. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 23, with the Rev. Mark Washington and Pastor T. R. King officiating. Burial will be in Alleghany Memorial Gardens, Low Moor, Va. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
