JOHNSON, WALTER S.
Walter S. Johnson, age 65 of Roanoke, died Tuesday at his home. He was retired from the Norfolk & Southern Railroad. He is survived by five brothers, William W. Johnson, Jr., Roanoke; Cecil W. Johnson, N.C.; Robert L. Johnson, Honolulu; Garland O. Johnson, Roanoke; Lewis B. Johnson, Alexander; two sisters, Betty Ann St.Clair, Carolyn V. Woods, both of Salem; a number of nieces and nephews; a dear friend, Diane Grant, Roanoke. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 24, 1992 at 10:00 a.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Sam Huntley officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Hospic Program at Roanoke Memorial Hospital, P.O. Box 13367, Roanoke, VA 24033. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel after 12:00 noon Wednesday.
