INSURANCE MERGER MAKES LARGE FIRM

The recent merger of Nixon and Associates Inc. of Christiansburg and Old Dominion Insurance Services Inc., which has offices throughout the New River Valley, creates one of Southwest Virginia's largest and most diversified independent agencies.

Old Dominion Insurance Services is the surviving corporation and Sam Nixon is the new president of the expanded agency.

Old Dominion will represent more than 20 of the leading property and casualty carriers in the United States and will continue to maintain offices in Radford, Blacksburg, Pulaski and Christiansburg. And customers will be able to deal with the same representatives.
