VIA LEADS FLOYD PAST ROCKY GAP

Fred Via scored Floyd County's first six points - making two 3-pointers back-to-back - as the Buffaloes defeated Rocky Gap 60-40 in a Mountain Empire District boys' basketball game on Tuesday night.

Via had five 3-pointers for the game and scored 18 points. Travis Crawford had 18 points and seven assists for Floyd County (10-1 overall, 8-1 Mountain Empire).

Brian Lawson led Rocky Gap (4-6, 3-6) with 12 points. \
