Tracey Gold, who plays Carol Seaver on television's "Growing Pains," was hospitalized for treatment of the eating disorder anorexia nervosa.

Her father and agent, Harry Gold, said she had been struggling with the disorder "for a few years," according to this week's TV Guide. "It's not something that just sort of happens. She's been with a therapist."

Dan Wilcox, executive producer of the ABC series, said the 22-year-old actress' condition was apparent. Gold will be off the show indefinitely, TV Guide said.

The old mining town of Creede, Colo., is proud of its high school graduates - all six last year.

Creede High School's entire 1991 senior class now studies at colleges, and all members won scholarships.

Shirrae Wintz, in the class of '91 and now at Colorado State University, credited her teachers, "who are not just your teachers, but your friends, too."

It was the second consecutive year that the school's entire graduating class advanced to college. There were three graduates in 1990.

It would be Carol and Carroll Hubbard in Congress if she is elected this year.

Carol Hubbard filed as a candidate Tuesday in Kentucky's 5th District, where she maintains a residence. Her husband is already in the House, representing the 1st District in western Kentucky.

He is directing his wife's fund-raising. And she's negotiating with his campaign consultants.

Two Hubbards could cause confusion on the electronic voting machine in the House, the incumbent said. "Maybe her light would be pink and mine would be blue," Carroll Hubbard said. "We'll worry about that later."

Once he wraps up "The Cosby Show" this season, Bill Cosby plans to star in a new version of Groucho Marx's classic quiz show "You Bet Your Life."

Cosby said he will move directly into off-network syndication of the new show this fall, following Marx's formula of comic banter between host and contestants.
