UVA'S ROBERTS HONORED BY ACC

Virginia's Ray Roberts has won the Jacobs Blocking Trophy for the second straight year, it was announced Tuesday.

The trophy is given to the outstanding blocker in the Atlantic Coast Conference and is voted on by conference coaches.

Roberts, a 6-foot-7, 298-pound senior, was a second-team All-America selection by the College & Pro Football Newsweekly, the Football News, the Associated Press and United Press International. - Staff report
