TENN. FAMILY CLAIMS SHARE OF LOTTO PRIZE
A family from Johnson City, Tenn., on Wednesday claimed their $2.1 million of Saturday's $6.3 million jackpot.Robert L. France, 62, his wife, Elfriede, 62, and their daughter, Annemarie, 43, came to the lottery's Abingdon office to get their first payment of $80,781 after taxes. They will receive 19 more payments of $80,053 after taxes.
Robert and Elfriede France, who are retired, say they will take a vacation with part of the winnings.
Jim Brodnax of Greensboro, N.C., claimed the first third of the jackpot on Tuesday. No one has come forward to claim a winning ticket sold in Jonesville. - Associated Press
