CAR, COCAINE SEIZED; 5 N.C. JUVENILES HELD
Five juveniles from North Carolina were taken to a juvenile detention center in Christiansburg Tuesday after they were stopped on Interstate 81 Monday night.
State police in Wythe County stopped them because their northbound car was moving erratically. Trooper L.F. Valley said the car was found to have been stolen Sunday in Charlotte, N.C. An estimated $600 to $700 worth of cocaine was found inside.
The five face charges including drug possession, reckless driving, possession of a stolen car and operating a car without a license.
