Neva Wood Gallimore Cockerham, age 86, died January 22, 1992 in the Twin County Community Hospital, Galax, Va. Address of Mrs. Cockerham: 117 Hanes Road, Galax, Va. Mrs. Cockerham is survived by husband, Hardy J. Cockerham; daughter and son-in-law, Norma and S. C. Carr, Jr., Galax; granddaughter and husband, Karen and Darrell Surface, Hillsville, Va.; grandson and wife, Mark and Maria Carr, Roanoke, Va.; great-grandson, Jason Atwood, Sparta, N.C. and great-granddaughter, Stephanie Carr, Roanoke, Va.; brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Hattie Gallimore, Winston-Salem, N.C. Funeral service will be held in the Gladeville United Methodist Church on Friday, January 24, 1992 at 2:00 p.m. with interment in the Gladeville Cemetery. Officiating ministers, Rev. Ed Stafford and Rev. Charles Bolling. Family will receive friends at the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Home Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
