VINTON MAYOR SAYS HE'LL SEEL FIFTH TERM
Vinton mayor says he'll seek fifth termVinton Mayor Charles Hill announced Tuesday that he will seek re-election in May.
Hill, a retired banker, is seeking his fifth term as mayor. Hill was elected to council in 1976 and mayor in 1980. His bid for his fourth term in 1988 marked the first time Hill was unopposed.
The mayor's position and two other seats on the Vinton Town Council are up for election in May. Both incumbents, Robert Altice and Ray Sandifer, are seeking re-election. Altice has been on council 16 years, and Sandifer is completing his first term.
