MORE GAME ESCAPES THAN IS KILLED
THIS IS IN response to Donald Taylor's letter (Jan. 7), "Bear-stalking is appalling." I found the article on bear hunting very good and would like to see more articles on hound hunting. His statement that hunting has become nothing more than an electronic gauntlet from which there is no escape for the animals could come only from someone who knows nothing about hunting. Much more game gets away than is killed. Before he enlightens us with any more hunting facts, he should learn what the facts on hound hunting really are! MIKE BARE NATURAL BRIDGE STATION
