WHEELER, EVELYN H.

Evelyn Huffman Wheeler, age 71, of Jae Valley Rd., Roanoke, passed away Wednesday in Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Wheeler was retired from Eli Lilly. She is survived by her husband, Otha Cleveland Wheeler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Kent and Darlene Wheeler, Otha Lee and Becky Wheeler, all of Roanoke; four daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and William Saul, Linda and Bobby Divers, all of Boones Mill; Della and James Carter, Kay and Roger Thompson, all of Roanoke; four sisters, Margaret Johns, Emma Jean Via, both of Roanoke; Peggy Young, Vinton; Flonnie Lindsey, Portsmouth; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Lotz Roanoke Chapel 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 1992 with Rev. Joe Dillon and Rev. Ray Miller officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
