SMEDLEY, ALBERTA J.

Mrs. Alberta J. Smedley of Roanoke, died Wednesday, January 22, 1992. She was the widow of George A. Smedley. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Eugene E. Clemens, Woodstock, Ga.; Mrs. Dorothy E. Marshall, Virginia Beach; one sister, Mrs. Edward Brown, Williamsport, Pa.; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's North Chapel at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, with the Rev. Randy J. Garner officiating. Burial will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends for one hour before service.
