SOWERS, EVERETTE G.

Everette Gray Sowers, age 80, died on Thursday, January 23, 1992 at his home in Fairfax, Va. He was preceded in death by his wife, Delaphine Viers Sowers. Surviving are four daughters, Barbara Sowers Smith, Doris Sowers Terwilliger, Jackie Sowers Rose, Carol Sowers Payne; one son, Allan R. Sowers; two brothers, Fred Sowers and Chimer Sowers; two sisters, Mattie Sowers and Ursalene Orange; 21 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Demaine Springfield/Annandale Chapel, Backlick and Edsall Roads, Springfield, Va., where the family will be present from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 24 and where services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday. Interment will be in the National Memorial Park, Falls Church, Va. Contributions may be made to the Hospice of Northern Virginia, 4715 North 15th Street, Arlington, VA 22205.
