JOHNSON, MARY E.

Mary E. Johnson of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord Thursday, January 23, 1992. She was employed at Singer Furniture. She is survived by her husband, James W. (Bill) Johnson; daughter, Katherine Marie Johnson of Roanoke; two stepdaughters, Donna Alford and Carolyn Brock of Goldsboro, N. C.; three sisters, and brothers-in-law, Irene and Paris Morris of Summersville, W. Va.; Ann and Walton Price of Roanoke; and Grace Harman of Maryland. She was preceded in death by her brother, James L. Harman. She will be sadly missed by three nieces, Sabrina Young, Twana Price of Roanoke; and Becky Shelor of Salem; also five nieces and three nephews of West Virginia. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 1992, at 10:00 a.m. at Oakey's North Chapel officiated by the Rev. J. E. Edwards. The family will receive friends Friday at Oakey's North Chapel.
