DOUBLE THREAT: Scott Turow, lawyer and the author of the best-selling novel "Presumed Innocent," will speak at Virginia Tech's Squires Student Center on Tuesday night at 7:30.Admission is free.

\ WHEELIE IMPRESSIVE: "Choppers, Rice Burners and Hogs" is the title of an exhibit of motorcycles Saturday and Sunday at the Virginia Museum of Transportation in Roanoke.
Saturday's hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday's from noon to 5. Admission is $3 for adults, $2.50 for senior citizens, $2 for young people ages 13-18 and $1.75 for those ages 3-12. Call 342-5670.
\ OLDIES: The Charlottesville Early Music Group will perform John Taverner's Mass, "The Western Wind," on Sunday afternoon at 5 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Roanoke.
The concert will re-create an original performance by presenting the work in the context of an entire Latin Mass, including all of the Gregorian chant, as it would have been sung in England during the time of Henry VIII.
It's open to the public with a $5 donation requested.
\ JAZZ: Caravan, a Roanoke jazz combo, will play Saturday night from 7 to 10:30 at the Sedalia Coffeehouse near Big Island.

\ FRET NOT: The Audubon Quartet and Hungarian cellist Csaba Oncsay will play Schubert's Quintet in C Major, Op. 163, Saturday night at 8 and Sunday afternoon at 3 in Squires Recital Salon at Virginia Tech.
Also on the program: the "Duo" by Ravel, and Mendelssohn's E-flat Quartet, Op. 44, No. 3.

\ SHOWTIME: The Charlottesville and University Symphony will present a concert Saturday night at 8:15 and Sunday afternoon at 3:30 in Old Cabell Hall on the grounds of the University of Virginia.
