HALL OF FAME TICKETS SOLD OUT

The first Roanoke-Salem Hall of Fame baseball dinner is a sellout, with all 410 tickets gone for the Sunday, Feb. 2 event at the Salem Civic Center.

Five members will be inducted into the Hall of Fame, which will be housed at the Salem Civic Center. The five are long-time Pittsburgh Pirate scout F.J. "Kid" Carr, and former major league players Steve Brodie, Dave Parker, Al Holland and Billy Sample.

Former New York Yankee Bobby Richardson will be the featured speaker. - Staff report
