HOLCOMB, ROY T.
Roy T. Holcomb, age 88, died Thursday at his Roanoke home. Mr. Holcomb was Founder and C.E.O. of State Office Supply, Inc. of Roanoke. He started the company in 1946 and was active in the business until 1991. He was a member and former youth counselor at Raleigh Court United Methodist Church; a member of the Kiwanis Club of Roanoke; a member of the Knights of Pythias; and a former member of the Optimist Club of Roanoke. Mr. Holcomb is survived by his wife, Mrs. June B. Holcomb; a daughter, Nancy Fisher, Salem; a son, Tommy Holcomb, Roanoke; two grandchildren, Shannon Fisher and Gavin Fisher, Salem. The funeral service will be held at Oakey's South Chapel on Saturday January 25, 1992 at 1:00 p.m. Dr. Gregory Adkins will officiate. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel. The family requests memorials be made to your favorite charity.
