HINSHAW, EMMA L.

Emma L. Hinshaw, age 92, of Roanoke, died Thursday in a Roanoke nursing home. She was the widow of Clinton M. Hinshaw and a member of Grandin Court Baptist Church. Surviving are a son, Swanson Hinshaw, Atlanta, Ga.; four daughters, Alma Cooper, Martinsburg, W.Va.; Margaret Wright, Laurel, Md.; Elizabeth Martin, Catherine Hinshaw, both of Roanoke; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 27, 1992, with the Rev. Robert M. Hamner officiating. Interment will be in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
