BRANSCOME, CARLIE M.

Mr. Carlie Melvin Branscome, age 86, of Hillsville, passed away Friday morning. He was born in Carroll County to the late John Daniel Branscome and Emmazetta Dalton. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Branscome; a son and daughter-in-law, Garry and Sharon Branscome, Hillsville; two sisters, Mrs. Essie McCulley, War, W.Va.; Mrs. Alma Newman, Dugspur; two brothers, Mr. Woodrow Branscome, Galax; Mr. Cody Branscome, Indian Valley. Funeral service will be Sunday, January 26, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church conducted by the Rev. Allen Thompson and the Rev. Elmon Thompson with interment in Mounta Vista Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsville.
