FOR THE RECORD
Because of a reporter's error, Dr. Maynard Law was incorrectly identified as Melvin Law in a story Friday about health care in the northern part of Roanoke. Also, the late Dr. William Foster was identified as a black physician. He was white. Also, the story should have said that 38,000 people in census tracts north of the Roanoke River - as opposed to just Northwest Roanoke - live in areas with no doctors' offices.
